Amanda + Nate | Valentine’s Themed Portrait Session

Valentine’s Day is almost here so I had to post a little bit of love on blog. Amanda and Nate met at UNCW and were engaged this past fall. They have never had professional photos taken so they thought my Valentine’s Day special was a good way to test the waters. The session was only 30 minutes so I was worried that it wouldn’t be enough time for them to warm up to the camera. Not the case! They were open to trying any ideas I had and they also had plenty of their own! Here are my favorites from our session…

Valentine’s Styled Senior Session

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! I am shooting my Valentine’s Mini Sessions this afternoon but I won’t be posting those until actual Valentine’s Day due to some of the photos being a surprise! I thought I would post the 2nd styled session from my weekend with Seniorologie and The Savvy Photographer as a Valentine’s teaser! Here are some of my favorites…

I just L.O.V.E. these photos!

Sara Davis - Your talent blows me away! I am so impressed, Brooke Denning!

Shannon | Wilmington Portrait Photography

Shannon and I have been friends for almost 7 years. We met on my 19th birthday in Wilmington and have been friends ever since that day. She grew up dancing so her stage presence translates into confidence in front of the camera. We met in downtown Wilmington for some sunset shots and the next morning for sunrise at Wrightsville Beach. It was SO cold and the wind was whipping! I was bundled in several layers, gloves & scarves and Shannon said, “I’m from Minnesota, this is nothing…” She is SO beautiful that it’s annoying!… Here are some of my favorites of this beauty!

Alexis | Raleigh Portrait Photography

After rooming with Alexis for work in Myrtle Beach for a month it is easy for me to say that laughter is the best workout. We spent 30 days together and as a result I think I gained about 30 expression lines around my eyes/mouth and my stomach was constantly soar from laughing so hard. Alexis and I met up at the Historic Oak View Park to take some portraits. As you can see, she’s pretty easy on the eyes so my job was a breeze. I posted a few of Alexis at the end that, for me, sum up who she really is. If you know her at all, I think you will agree with me. Here are my favorites from our session…

Now here are a few of the Alexis that I know so well….

Yes… She is throwing nuts at me…
